Niko, a third generation winemaker, is currently running the show at family run Douloufakis winery. When he took over the winery in 1993, he continued to plant indigenous Cretan grape varieties as well as introduce international grapes to the mix.
The wine is 100% Liatiko, indigenous to Crete and the most widely planted grape on the island. Pale in colour with plum and savoury spice aromas which follow through to the palate with a touch of dark cherry and nutmeg.
