Priorat is renowned for its red wines. This lovely white is a blend of 70% white Grenache and 30% Viognier. It gives notes of honey and nougat on the nose and the palate is bright and crisp with a lovely zing of apricots on the finish. It's a big wine which will go really well with creamy pasta dishes, seafood, Paella or light white meats. Harvest is in August to ensure a good acidity. A small proportion of the grapes are fermented in new oak and the wine then spends 6 months on the lees adding depth and texture.
